Care Guide
Serving Boards & Coasters
So now you have your favourite serving board and or coasters there’s a few things worth noting like most things with a little TLC they’ll last and look great for longer. Here’s some do and don’ts we’ve put together for you
DO dry your board immediately after washing as you don’t want any water absorbing into your board
DO either wipe down with a damp cloth or if necessary, a small amount of detergent after use.
DO treat it with oil this will prolong its life and keep it from drying out, use: coconut, mineral, linseed, beeswax or tung oil.
DO NOT use sharp utensils or knives on your serving board as it is not to be used as a chopping board.
DO NOT use vegetable oil or olive oil as these will become rancid and begin to smell.
DO NOT put your board or coasters in the dishwasher or submerge in water as this will cause damage.
